Default LT80 Idle... Can I adjust it?

Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me if it's possible to adjust the idle on the LT80? The bike won’t stay running unless a little gas is given. I also need to go up one size on my main jet. Do you think the bigger main jet will help with the idle? Then it would be getting more gas right?? Thanks!

There is an idle adjustment screw.
It is in the right side.
When you are looking from the right side, it will be the only screw you can see that is facing you. It should be brass colored.
Not sure about the jetting though..........

Good Luck

Main jet only controls from 1/4 throttle on up, idle is pilot jet and mixture screw, or idle screw, if equipped. A lot of 2 strokes use the mixture screw to control idle. If you have not modified the intake or exhaust on your LT80, there should be no need for rejetting, unless your altitude is way above or below what it was set up for.

Thanks everyone! Jack Moore did the motor and I just took the bike out for the first time. He told me that if it sounds like its missing at top speed I should go up one size on my main jet. I am hearing some missing at full throttle. I pulled the plug out after about a 1/2 tank of gas and took a close up picture of how the plug is burnings, except I dont know what I'm look for! If anyone woudlnt mind taking a look at this plug for me I would really appreciate it. I posted the pics in MY PAGE . Or I could e-mail them right over to you. Thanks!!
