sportsman 400 2002
#1
I was looking at a sportsman 400 today that had 2800 miles on it and it looked in pretty good shape except where the plastic by the seat goes together it was not tightly latch...is this something common on them or is it a sign of something else..... He wants $5300(canadian) for it with a winch and a backseat..windshield.

Ok, working from your math, it appears that you are paying $868.70c less for a 3 year older quad.
The price I sent you is for a brand new unit out the door on your truck. (as they put it)
I guess my point is that the seller is not allowing for much depreciation on a 3 year old machine. The NADA used price guide suggests around $4400c as the average price on a 2002 sportsman 400 in very good condition. Of course, you are not here where you can buy this unit at the price I passed along so unless you are up for a road trip, this may only serve as a guide.
