i see you got the DG3 module on it and i believe that takes care of the limp mode problem like the dynatek cdi. well did you hit 100 hours on it? it may be that you need to take the reset key and reset it. or it could be that maybe you tripped the lil switch inside the belt housing to the off position and it registers on the light but won't throw it into limp mode that is the only thing i can think of.

..well i figured out how to get the belt light out......u have to use a little different proceedure to do thew 100 hour ..warning to have the bike checked out...........i did it and it put the light out...only thing is it is supposed to warn ever 100 hours...and it warned at 150 this time..well any way the problem was solved.....it tells u how to do it in the service manual...page 5-23

thank you kawasaki for your ingenious idea with this belt indicator. at least we have the cdi's where we don't have to worry bout it but i think it is just assinine that if you are miles from home and don't have or lost the lil reset key where the limp mode kicks in even if it does when it is supposed to out in the middle of the trail and you lose all power. can't they do this same thing by just having the light illuminate to warn us of this? when your atv gets low on oil or overheats it doesn't shut it down that is what the warning lights are for. what a bunch of idiots.

well it only goes into limnp mode if the belt is actually breaking down and trips the switch in the clutch cover.......and the light will flash...........but..if it come on and stayes on with out flashing u can still drive it normally witch is beter than it did befor ..it flashede for me at 100 and had to take it out of limp mode..........now it only stays on.and can still ride

mine used to go into limp mode all the time for no reason. then i fried my dynatek cdi and somewhere along the lines my lil switch got tripped so i had to reset that. i am just saying the inconvenience of this limp mode is uneccesary
