1995 TrailBoss 250.. How to adjust the rear brake pedal?
#1
I added some new break pads to the front end of my 1995 polaris 250 trailboss today and noticed that the back brake wasn't working too well with the foot pedal. They all work fine together with the hand brake but the foot pedal goes all the way to the floor and never gets stiff enough. I didn't see an adjustment on the bar that runs from the pedal to the caliper so is there another way to adjust it? I am enclosing some pics that I took of it earlier to get an idea of what I'm trying to do.

My 93 tb has a **** where the linkage meets the caliper, yours is different I see. All I have to do is loosen the nut on the **** on the caliper and turn it in for more pedal.

If is same as my xplorer, the adjusting bolt is on the end of caliper , you wil see head of bolt with a nut behind it ,the bolt will move in or out for adjustment after you loosen the nut, tighten nut when you are done to hold the adjustment. You can see caliper under fender on picture 2, it should be where left arrow is pointing.
