I want to take out the stock packing in the muffler making it hallow with just the stock cap on. Will this hurt the bike. I like the sound, but I will put it back if you guys think it is not good for the bike. Let me know, I trust your advice.

 

that wont do anything performance wise and it sounds junky when u do that........keep all that stuff in your pipe it directs air flow out the muffler tip if u want a bit more power and a nicer sound take the stock endcap off and cut everything off back nice and flush.
