what year model fourtrax

I'm having trouble getting a year model for a fourtrax 300 2x2 I just picked up. The only numbers I can find are "SHC4-000" and "G286762". Can anyone help me. Thanks

I believe those were on the front part of the frame, down low. I think my Brother in laws 96 is down there as is my Rancher. My Rancher also had one under the seat up near the tank. This one was paper but it was still hanging on. Your probably looking for a TRX300??? something.
