I am looking to buy an ATV, the exclusive use being for duck hunting. I have seen a polaris 6X6 with a modified "pick up" bed, that looks to be perfect. A flat bed, with a couple of seats and posts to hang decoys. My only question is how will it perform in the mud and water. I will be using extensively in flooded fields and marshes. How does it hold up to lots of water use and are there any mods that I would need to make to make sure I don't get stuck. Any other suggestions for a duck hunting ATV, that is big enough to take a lot of gear and maybe another person?

Thanks,
Duckman

TXDUCKMAN THE 6X6 SOUNDS LIKE THE MACHINE FOR YOU. GETTING STUCK? YOU CAN GO TO LARGER TIRES FOR MORE FLOATION OR ADD A REAR TRACK KIT. THE SEATS/BED YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.
I KNOW SOMEONE IN HOUSTON WHO CAN HELP YOU WITH THESE ITEMS. E-MAIL ME FOR MORE INFO RHARVEY@EV1.NET

I'd say go for it. I love mine and so do my 2 friends that also own 6x's. For a peek of some 6x6's in mud and water take a look at my site. I honestly do not think you'll be disappointed if you get one. It will definately do the job.
