1999 500- when in neutral, the reverse light is on too, when in low, reverse light is on and i have to use the override button to go faster than 2 mph, in high it is fine, in reverse it is fine. only neutral and low is the reverse light constantly on and causing the use of the override in low gear. please help.. thanks, PB500

 

thats a new one... havent heard that before, very well could be a few different problems, crossed wires, bad ground somewhere, maybe a bad speedo

check your shift position switch in the shifter. I'm betting it's stuck or bad.
