I hate to say it but in my all mighty teenage mind i thought i could fix my freinds motor becuase sombody had ruined the alenhead bolts(sp) so i decided to drill them out but i really couldnt see down there so i just kinda choose the "to big" drill bit to use but since i couldnt see i just kinda guessed and it was way to big and i went trew the head and in to the block on one bolt but the others in the case are just fine. But the head is wasted. So anyways if that made any sense here are my options
1. buy a 27.00 case and have him use one of my old heads that i think works
2. Get him a cheap .15 pro traxxas motor
3. sell him my 2.5 traxxas motor for about 50 bucks

and another thing his head was really beat up before i got it it had fins missing and he said he couldnt even get his motor to idle so the i think the motor had something wrong with it. oh and the motor is the hpi .15.
You guys got any other ideas?

 

HPI's are CRAP. Get a 2.5R engine from traxxas, i got one in my hopped up Nitro 4-Tec.. they SCREAM. dont mix engine blocks with different heads... wont get right compression and squish band.

 

whats the diffrence from the 2.5 and the 2.5r on my 2.5 im going to sell him i have the bore of a .18

 

The 2.5 is bassicly a .18 anyways, you can get a replacement head for around 30 bucks. also try getting a new head and get a savage motor mount they will fit anything

 

I bought a .21bb off a savage to go in my tmaxx but it didnt come with a motor mount. how much is one?

 

Where im from they go for around 10 dollars. the good thing about them you can mount just about any motor with it.
