Tires for 89 Trail Boss 250 4x4
#1
Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and have lots of questions that I hope you guys can help me with. Recently I bought an old 89 Trail Boss 250 4x4 for my wife so she can get out every once in a while for a ride with me. It's pretty low on the front with the original 22" tires and 24's on the rear. Can I put 25's on this machine all the way around without causing stress on any of the drive train components while in 4x4? Or would one of the sprockets have to be changed to compensate for the bigger tires? The extra ground clearance would sure be handy.

I put 25in tires on my 92 250 4x4 before this last winter. Plowed snow, rode thruogh deep snow, no problems yet. Remember Polaris is true on demand, front wheels engage with rear wheel spin. so the axles can disengage as needed, in theory nothing should get torn up.
