Default Wolverine won't idle when hot

I have a '97 Wolverine. It runs fine when cool or just taking it easy however when I go full speed down a road or accross a field it will not idle. I have taken the carb apart and cleaned it out but it did not make a difference. The parking break switch has been disconnected. I have tried to adjust the pilot screw but this does not seem to make a difference either in fact when I adjust the pilot screw it does not seem to affect the quad at anytime when it is cool or hot. Any suggestions of what could be wrong would be appreciated! Does this seem like an electrical problem or carb?

yes, it sounds much like a choke problem. if it is idling when cold, does the rpms stay the same when you turn the choke on or off. are you sure your not leaving it on. is it even working.
