Need Help - Gas Leaking? '99Sp500

Need Help - Gas Leaking? '99Sp500
I have a 99 Sportsman 500 and unless I turn the gas off while it's parked, gas drips out of the float bowl drain tube. What causes this and how do I fix it? Any help is much appreciated.
