Well they finally goated me into it....place where the( "bad boy"s with quick toy"s)gather, a 330 foot launch pad where they drag race there moded ATV(on dirt)couple
of younguns with a 700 twin peak and a 750 brut force where educating me on how that there quads would humiliate my 800EFI in a drag race because in there words
the 800 was a 750 lb tank........well, I busted the 700 by 15 feet the brute force by 4 quad lenghts......old age and trechery over youth and exuberance today......
I left them with this....yep, it"s a tank, but a damn fast one at that....mark one up for the way out.......

Everybody's so concerned with weight. everybody always says Yeah scramblers are cool but they weigh a ton. It's pretty cool though when the only thing somebody can find wrong with your quad is it's a little fat. I'm a little fat myself so who am i to complain

with the utility's i cant tell, but i can with my scrambler because its not easy to make the thing fly, and everytime i get air with it i hear a new noise that never sounds good. Great quad for ditches and trails tho, definently not one for MX

I ride mx with mine a little. I'll do the medium track but you won't see me on the 7 foot table tops. I have noticed that most people complain about weight when riding the trails. Everybody knows the scrammy isn't a race bike. and as for the 800 can you see somebody hitting a 7 or 8 footer with an 800 sportsman. probably not

It all depends on what kind of riding you do and the type and size of rider you are. Those of us that have scramblers and sportsman didn't buy them for their racing abilities. We bought them for many other reasons. The scrambler in particular is the only auto sport quad with push button 4wd. so when you say it's heavy your comparing it to a raptor or a banshee well heck yes it's heavy compared to those that's a whole different class of bike. the scrambler is in a class of it's own. Yes I do agree it's heavy but that's because of what it is a 4wd sport quad not a race quad.
