my blaster is hard to start and wont stay running once it does fire, it seems like there is a sweet spot in the throttle about half way open where it will still run if i give it more or less it dies but its running weird almost like its trying to run good for 2 seconds and then cuts out for 1 I have done everything i can to the carb cleaned/played wit jets/tryed with and with out air filter/ and it still pretty much does the same thing so im almost sure it has something to do with spark i cleaned the plug and look for spark witch it does have but seems kinda weak does anybody know whats causing this or have any ideas ??

 

check for a leek around the cylinder or going from the carb to the head. also, do a compression check

 

a compression test is good, i'd first replace the jets, i'd also have the wiring inspected. the stator might be going bad.

 

the top end is just about brand new so if it is a comp. prob i must of blown a gasket or somthing but i do appreciate the advice b,cuz i wouldnt of thought of that so ill go over the cylinder tommorrw and give it a look ...thanks fellas

BTW how do i go about cheakin the stator ?
