bigger sprocket on front of YFZ

Default bigger sprocket on front of YFZ

I am getting a 1 tooth bigger sprocket for my YFZ.. How much more top speed do you think i will gain and what about excelleration and power will i really lose much with just one tooth?

Default bigger sprocket on front of YFZ

well for us ds650s i went down to a 15 tooth from a 16 tooth front after adding 22 inch tires on the rear....1 tooth on the front is equal about 3 on the back for us and i did notice a change in top speed it put me down about 4-5mph so i would guess thats about how much you would gain 5mph? u dont got a ds but should be close.

Default bigger sprocket on front of YFZ

you should do a search for a gearing calculator, it will tell you all the ratios and you can change the sprocket size on it also.
