Default having problems with new 400

I went out and bought a new 400 just two weeks ago, and i can't seem to get the thing to fire. I have already changed the plugs twice. It also blows out white and blue smoke out the tail pipe, is this common for a new honda? i'm up for any ideas and i'm ready just to take it back to the shop

thx a bunch for the help

Which 400 do you have, the EX or Rancher AT? In any case, it is on warranty, so make it Honda's problem.

This kind of stuff is rare. My EX is an 00 and easily has a couple thousand miles on it, and still going strong!

Sounds like you could have had something clogging a carburator jet, but you also said it wouldn't "fire", so that sounds electrical.

I would make the dealer check it out. Actually, you should have taken it back while it was acting up!

Could have been bad gas. I'd take it to the dealer for the 1st service, let them change the oil, check all the nuts and bolts, adjust all the cables, adjust the chain tension and tune the carbeurator (tell tehm about the problem and they'll probably clean it too.)
