Cabela's Black Tread Storage Box
#1
I just got the black tread atv storage box from Cabela's and I'm very happy with it. It turns out to be made by DeeZee and is very top quality. The black finish is excellent. I almost hate to take it out in the woods and get it scratched. I bought the medium size and put it on the rear rack. I didn't want to put it on the front and block my head light. I had to put a 3/4" piece of plywood under it because of the lip that's on the back of the rear rack. I needed it to hang over the rack alittle so it didn't go across my seat. I cut the plywood one inch short on all sides and painted it black to match the cargo box. I haven't had it in the rain yet but it should be pretty water tight.

That is definetly a very sharp box. I am thinking about getting one. I have looked at less expensive options, but this just seems to be the ticket. I also have the luxury of going to the Cabelas retail store and looking them over. Good excuse to run up to their store again

I have some more desert storm photos, but these are by far the better ones. I may scan some more tommorow. I will email you if I do. The one regret I have about the whole deal was not taking more pictures. I guess some images will just have to stay lost in my head. LOL
