Default any ideas on a snow play, i know it's summer

I have an 05 grizzly 660 se, i'm moving to my new house on 5 acres with a 1/4 mile circular driveway. Has anyone put a plow system on their grizzly. I've been reading on the swisher plow system, does anyone have one. Thanks for the help.

Have a look at my pics.

The snowblade I am running is a Moose 60 inch. After moving snow with it I can tell you this:

Don't get anything smaller than a 60 inch; when you angle the blade your tires on one side will be packing the windrow and raising one side of the quad on the 48 inch blades. The Grizzly (or a Kodiak for that matter) has plenty of power for a huge blade.

Mounting: The Moose plow comes with a 1/4 inch metal plate that is the exact size of the center skid plate on your Griz, it is easy to install, easy to take the blade off and has perfect weight balance. Two pins and releasing the winch cable is all it takes to pull the blade off and go off on a tear.

Winch lift: Definetley get a plow that uses your winch to raise and lower the blade. Hand levers are for geeks.

Low Range: Use low range to move snow.

Summer use: Get one now before you have to wait for a dealer to back order one while you are stuck in your driveway. I have used mine in the spring and summer to level ruts in the driveway and move gravel. It's kinda hard on the quad but would take forever to do by hand.

Front springs: Set your front shock pre-load as high as possible (this still is not enough).

Hey, it's never to early to plan! Send me a PM if you have anything else to ask.

I have the Swisher system with the plow and the dump bucket. It works great, it's easy to put on and take off and if you just want to drop the blade off and ride it's just a matter of pulling a pin. The only thing I don't like is you ahve to remove your front axle covers. I immagine you can modify them to fit over the mounting bracket that attaches to the A-arms.
We bought the Swisher because we wanted the bucket and didn't want to completely change systems to go from the bucket to a plow. If all your buying is the plow, I think something like the Moose is cheaper.
Also, I don't reccomend the 60 inch blade, expecially if you have heavy wet snow. 60 inch is mstly for the UTVs like the Polaris ranger. The 50 - 54 inch works just fine and puts less stress on your machine.
