450es display has 2 dashes for gear..wont start

Default 450es display has 2 dashes for gear..wont start

I have a 450es Foreman 2000 model..turn the key, display comes on, for the gear it shows 2 dashes?? it will not start...tried disconnecting and reconnecting batt...tried charging batt....I had just started it and rode for about 1 min, was in 2nd gear and the display for the gear position went to 2 dashes...stopped turned off and that was it...any thoughts???

The reason it wont start, is because its stiil in gear, and theres no nuetral light. Use the handle, on the stub shift shaft, and put it in nuetral, and try again. Cycleing the key to off, and back on, should clear the problem. If it doesnt, keep posting.
