Havent seen you around in a while either.

Thanks for the info, it was news to me. Sounds like an interesting proposition. I thought polaris was in need of some fat trimming after the drop of thier PWC line, I didnt figure they'd be hatching plans to buy out other companies.

If the KTM 520 were to make its way into a polaris atv, that might be the one and only polaris sport quad I'd ever own.

Finish that engineering degree yet? If so, where'd you end up taking a job?

Yes, I see a new hi-po quad coming from this arrangement. Just leaves the obvious questions... KTM engine with Polaris chassis? KTM and Polaris with their own designs but technology sharing? KTM to take over Polaris's design and manufacture of the sport segment? That last one seems obvious to me... considering their role in the bike industry.

Only good things for the sport ATV enthusiast, though...

In the release I see that it says KTM will be supplying engines. That said, I really dont think polaris is the best company to build sport quad frames either. The pred is..., well lets just say unique.

Ended up cutting the engineering degree short, took up eng tech as a minor with a business major. Thinking of going back to get it though.
