Dirtbike engine in Quad-DONE
#1
hmm...i dunno if you can put pictures in here or not, so ill put them in my gallery. But, we have this old kazuma 250 quad frame that the engine is pulled out of, and we have a 185 Suzuki Roadbike that is crazy fast, but just a roadbike, and i can't legally drive it on the road yet and its old so yeah. But we might put them into one. My idea was to cut the engine out of the suzuki, like cut the part of the frame that has the mounts and then engine out, so itll be a engine with frame tubes around it, then were gona cut out the middle portion of the fourwheeler, and weld the bike engine in the quad. I think im going to try and make it so that you sit on the engine, so that it will like to do easy wheelies . My dads the one who gave me the idea to just cut the engine out with mounts and all and put it into the quad frame. I just thought id share my idea so that if anyone has suggestions or some tips about it.

Ok...we got this all done, in about 3 or so days. Took the bike and cut the frame around the engine and the engine out of it. Set it in the quad frame...and welded it in big time. And everythings on it...runs ok i guess. It needs new carbs baad. (if you have a set of old carbs off of a 200cc bike or something like that or even a 340 snowmobile carbs might work. let me know, i need them bad) I need to make some air filters for it and some minor things but other then that the only problem we might have is the chain. It tightens when the rear shock goes down, so if it doesn't work right, were gone weld the back end solid. i will get pics up in a little while of it...thanks
