Default race gas for +7 degrees advanced timing?

i was wondering if i need to run anything different than premium gas when advancing timing 7 degrees. i'm at +4 and am still on premium gas. non race fuel. what does that do to throttle response and drivability at lower rpms and speed????

Keep in mind this is just what I've heard. On gas most just advance it 4 degress.Normally they advance it 7 or 8 degress, is when the quad is on alcohol.Mine is +8.

Compression dictates octane. Timing has nothing to do with it.

Too much timing will build engine heat and can lead to detonation, that's the underlying cause. More octane can quench the detonation, but the engine heat will still be there.
