Have a friend with a 325 Exp. At idle handlebars vibrate noticably. Will an idle adjustment fix this or will it need other adjustments?

The 325 engine will vibrate more than some of Polaris's other 4 stroke engines. I believe it is because the 325 does not have a counterbalancer. I turned the idle down on my 325 trail boss and it definetly vibrates less. The idle is set by the dealer when purchased. As the engine loosens up, it will idle a little faster. Adjust it down to where it will not stall and see if this makes a difference.

There is an idle thumb screw coming down from the carbuerator. If I remember right, it comes down on the left side of the carburator. Turning this thumb screw will adjust the idle. Look at the carb from both sides and you should be able to see what I am talking about. On some models, you may have to remove the airbox to get your hands to it. Let me know if you can't find it and I will look in the parts manual and give you a better explanation.

What can you do toa Polaris Trailblazer, to make it actually idle?Mine will idle half the time. When it does idle it does forever, but if doesnt it will cut off almost as soonb as you let off the gas.It kinda pisees me off.

Make sure there is not too much slack in the throttle cable. Adjust it so most of the free play is out. The ecectronic throttle control, if set with too much free play, will keep your engine from idling properly.
