I have friends 97 500 sportsman that I'm trying to fix for him. I think it has some kind of electrical problem. Its hard to start and when you do get it started you can pull it in gear and it will die but not every time. You can push the awd button in and then turn it off and it will kill it every time. The engine seems to cut out at high rpms. I've tried holding the reverse orverride button but it does not help. Anyone have any ideals?

 

Sounds like a gound issue. Maybe just check the main ground????? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
