Default Polaris Carb Vent Lines

I've noticed on some Rincon forums that a normal mod is to run the carb vent lines up to the handlebar pod. Is this something that needs to be done on my 500HO also or do we even have carb vents on our carbs. What about vent lines for the front and rear differential?

Your carb has vent lines and they should have a filter (one way filter) in the line like my 700 that lets fluid out but not in. Your differentials have a vent line also that is run up high to keep water out.

big red there is a carb vent tube on the left side look at the back of the carb and you will see 3 clear plastic tubes, the one that runs to a hole in the left frame. that is the vent tube. i had a dirt dobber plug it up on my sp400 and it would cut out and back fire and not run, luck i was looking for pinched lines and saw a bunch of spiders in the tube and pulled it out and they had it stoped up i cleaned it out and no more problems.
