Default Polaris 2005 Gun Boot mount

What are my options for mounting a gun boot on this atv other than the polaris lock and ride accessory?

Go to Cabellas, check out the double fin gun rack. It mounts on your rack and holds 2 rifle/shotguns. I have used it for years and love it. It comes off easy in the off season. If you give a bud a ride out and drop him to hunt, it's a great thing to have. I am looking at the gun boot for mine but I'm not overly impressed with the pop&lock design/long term durability I've noticed on the rear box I bought. My MTV box was a mutch better design.

I only need one gun boot. But did it mount easily on your rack? And do you have the 2005?

What don't you like about the lock-n-ride one? They have them for both sides now. The lock-n-ride is way cool, on and off in about 10 seconds.

I have nothing against it other than the price.
