Hey guys ive heard that a yamaha's blaster oil injector tends to fail sooner of later is this true cause mine has been running wiht the injector still intact and its a 2001! WTf?

 

i had a 96 with the factory injectior working fine last year. they arent as bad as everyone makes them out to be. just keep tabs on the oil level and make sure it is using the right amount.

 

Sooner or later its bound to fail, thats just how quads go.

 

your beter off with the block off kit its more reliable and it would suck to blow your top end because your injector faild

 

i had a polaris 300 explorer with the oiler mixer,and it failed and seized my motor,,,i had it rebuilt,and just mixed it the old fashion way

my best freinds ole lady had bought a brand new 250 explorer,and after what happened to me,as soon as the warranty was up,he disabled her pump,,,,,that bike ran 5 years with zero issues,and the mechanic at the dealership said that it was because they mixed the oil,and gas from the begining

the only reason she sold it was because she wanted a bigger bike
