you should only need new pads.

the best thing for you to do if you have an extra $200 is buy an aftermarket hydraulic brake kit. the rear brake on the blasters suck!! i forget who makes them but i know the cheapest place to find one is ebay. and DO NOT buy a used one!!!

Either buy a hydraulic brake kit like the guy above me suggested... or do what did, ditch the entire rear brake setup. Save about 2-3 lbs.

Otherwise try new pads...

I fabricated a 300 ex setup onto mine. I made all the brackets and welded them and bolted them on my quad, filled it with fluid, bled all the air out and now it will lock up the wheels, wet or dry without a problem. I bought it all for less than $125.

i dont know why everyone thinks the rear brakes on the blasters suck because i can easily lock up my rear wheels maybe you all need to grow some mucles and learn to push down with your foot just buy new pades and youll be set

easiest and cheapest way to go is go for a used banshee caliper and master cyl. off of ebay and make your own mounts.
