Hot Seat Performance Exhaust
#1
I just got a Hot Seat Performance Exhaust and wondered who else has one and if they like it. And if anyone has any dyno readings for it or know where I could find some easily.

We had a Hotseat pipe on my boys Polaris 90 and had alot of problems with it. We were on the forth pipe from them and I was having problems with it so I finally gave up and went with a Hetrick pipe and have had no problems with it and it has 7 races on it and runs better than it ever has. Hopefully you have better luck with yours. Every time I would have to send it back for repair I would loose about 2 weeks and during racing season that doesnt work very well.

Spark, Pm me I want to see what pipe you got because when we first started to build them in 03' they broke alot now we have thing cleared up with our stamping company and not near the problems I know of 1 pipe that has come back for warranty since we have gotten our new stampings adn this was just a week or 2 ago to a customer in canada. We got him a brand new pipe and he's winning races. I just wanted everyone to be clear in the fact that our old/first pipes in 03 had issues not any of our new stuff.

Sorry, to hear that guys I knwo you are probably very mad and have a bad taste in your mouth when you hear our name but I can assure you that the problem has been fixed. How does the power compare from the hetrick to our pipe and were there anyother mods that you had to do when you changes to the hetriock pipe?

When I change my pipe for a Hetrick, it was a big difference. It isn't the same pipe. IMO, the Hot Seat pipe is better at low RPM (because of the first part of the pipe I think) and the Hetrick pipe is better at middle and hight RPM, with the same mods but it is just my opinion, may be somebody else doesn't think like me.
