I have problems with dinging up the rims and hubs. What is the best way to protect them from rocks? can you put wider tires in the front??

 

Would you rather ding the rim or puncture the sidewall? I figure dinged rims are part of the ride.

get some ITP c-series rims or something that is wide and will stick out further than the hubs...that is what i did, just look at my pics and you can see

 

Ive dinged my rims every ride and not had to replace a rim yet. If I cut a sidewall every ride I would buy stock in Goodyear. I have never damaged a hub though. (Knock on wood) Even the plastic caps have survived.

i have replaced my plastic hub covers with aluminum billet hub covers. made by nossmachine.com? or somethin like that. they holdup great!
