Are Polaris atv's reliable? Do they need a lot of maintenance? I am going to pay $1800, what do you think of that price?

The first wheeler we had when I was growing up was a TB250 and it was fantastic. I beat the living crap out of that thing and nothing ever went wrong with it. The second wheeler we got (Polaris 350 Liquid 4x4) didn't stand up to the punishment near as well.

Our Trailblazer was an excellent quad.

I think $1800 is way to much unless its brand new. You can find really nice 02's for that price plus they're updated. Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't consider 1800 a good deal at all. I paid $2000 for my 2000 scrambler and it's a whole lot more bike. I'd pay $1000 but that's about it. I also reccomend ebay. you can sort by distance then find what's out there as far as you are willing to drive. just go to the atv listings and as soon as you get the listings up look over to right hand side it will say customise display click it then when it comes up highlight display from the available options box on the left and push the button with the two right arrows on it to move it over to the Columns to Display box. you know can click distance and sort the listings according to how far they are from you. I love this feature for big stuff.

And another thing is let's say you have $1800 - you could by a slightly newer trailblazer and still have $500 left to mod it. Just an idea.
