Default front sprocket slop?

should the front sprocket have some slop to it? mine wiggles what seems like quite a bit, and i'm just curious if this is normal or is there something that would cause this?

ok thanks thrash. by the way...does $300 sound pretty steep for a shop to do a cam chain/tensioner kit?

To me , that sounds real high; but I do 100% of my mechanical work, and am trying to open my own shop. But truthfully if you dont want to tear into it yourself 300 isn't too bad. It takes about a 6 pack and 4 hours to do it without air tools for me, but I have done a few before.

Hey Mike

If you deduct the time it takes to open and drink that 6-pack how long would it take ya?...lol I was workin' on my POS Kawasaki Mojave this past weekend, if my parents would have had some beer I would have been passed out in the yard....put it this way, I had her stripped down to the connecting rod in about 1-1/2 hours on saturday but didn't have her fired up til about 5pm on saturday. I was tempted to go home and get the 200X and drag the KAWI out to the swamp and leave it there.

Or did you mean you only charge a 6-pack to do it? If this is the case I'm gonna ship my Mojave down to you along with alot of BEER just to save me some stress
