Default 04 Rancher Lemon What to do ?

My brother's 04 Rancher ES won't even pull up in the back of a truck. Something wrong with the transmission. We have had it to the dealership 2 times now but it still won't even pull up the ramp in the truck. The dealership says they've done all they can do. He got the extended warranty, they should fix this thing or give him something else, can we do anything legally?

Hows his technique? Does he stop at the bottom with the tire against the ramp and then try to go up...or does he try to go up it in a fluid, nonstopping motion?
Has the dealership tried to drive it up the ramp?

Drag it on the truck with a comealong and take it to a different dealer.

We took it back to the dealer for the third time, they said it was fixed, he tried to drive it up the ramps it didn't even make it half way and stalled out. We told them to just keep it. He talked to the dealership today and they said that's just the way the 03-04 Rancher AT's are. They said they've done all they can do. It's still under warranty. Now we are either going to file a consumer complaint against the dealership through the State Attorney General's Office or just take it to another dealer.

I have an 05 rancher at and it will drive up a ramp with ease, and it is going into a 78 gmc with a 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires not to mention its only a 60 inch ramp.

Your dealer is an idiot. Your clutch is gone in it. They need to replace the clutch and rough up the inside of the clutch housing. When the clutch goes in the AT it glazes the inside of the housing. In order for the new clutch to work they need to rough up the inside.

TAKE IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALER. I don't think I could ever trust a dealer like that.

Yes, this dealership and it's service department is very incompitent. And it's a good size dealership. For them to say that all the new 400 A/T 's do this was just rediculous. I just laughed when he said that.
