Default fourtrax 200sx revs itself up on idle.

got a new old 86 4 trax today from my boss.. and it seems to rev istelf up while idling . it sat for 4 years before i got it .. i cleaned the old gas out of it.. and ran seafoam through it a few times but it still likes to rev on idle.. anyone ever had that happen before.. im thinking maybe an air leak in the carb or something.. however its not consistant with an airleak because when you first fire it up it doesent do it right away all the time.. and i would think that with an air leak it would do it all the time.. thanks for any help ! ?

well ive worked on a half dozen of these with that problem, usually you have to clean the carb reall well and then if that doesent work just let the bike warm up and then adjust idle screw to desired rpm. and also check to see if the choke is stuck and the air filter is clean.

i took the carb off took it appart and cleaned it up good.. now it runs like a top.. got a new battery and found out the electric start still works on it The lifters have pretty good tick to em so thats going to be one of my next steps and getting the rear break to stop tightening up when i turn the bars.. then it should be all good.!! thanks for your help
