.. Another New Cat Owner. 06 500i Auto Dark Green

I'm pretty excited. It's been 3 years since I had my 375 auto. I'm picking up a 06 500i on Friday 10-21. I chose dark green. I cant wait to break it in right! HHHHHARD! Anyone know if the break in oil is synthetic? If so, I'm going to drain it and go with conventional oil with frequent changes for the first 500 miles.

No its not synthetic...If it was it would never break-in....Good luck with your new ride.

I was at the artic cat site a bit ago checking them out. It doesn't say anything about a low range on the atvs with auto? Does the 2006 500 cat have a low range?

Yes they do have low-range...
