Default 05 Rancher AT 400 4x4

Ok newbie here in utility atv's but ran some sports years ago...the main question I have about the AT is the mono shock in the rear end...I know all about the reliablity of a Honda...my lawnmover's over 8 years old and still starts with the first pull...hey...."itsa Honda".... I've been lookin at the Yama 450 Kodi and the Zuk 400 Eiger one indy rear the other dual shock set-up. The quad will be used for light duty trail riding and pulling a trailer thru the woods loaded with wood.....we jus grabbed some acreage in RI and plan on cuttin my own firewood. No plowing snow or real heavy work involved...more or less jus a lil family toy for the trails. Any thoughts?
Thanks.....

FlagUp, you should be ok. My dad has the 400AT and does some light riding, hunting, and uses it around the house. He has pulled a 16ft car hauler (jack left down), rear mount sprayer, and a few other things around with no problem. I have not taken a hard look at it but it should be adjustable...similar to my p360. Great quad in my opinion. You'll like the 2x4/4x4, auto/esp. Look around for those things. You can get a great price on the '05. Good luck

No problem. Handles like a dream; really easy to throw around with a nice sense of stability. Have had mine for 2 years now. Great ATV.

I have had my AT for almost a year and have no complaints. I use it year round out at our land and do all the things you are talking about doing. The trailer I pull tops out at about 1300 lbs. so it has plenty of power. Plus it is fun on the trails....moreso than my 4x4 es which was a true Earth hugger'.
