Iam looking for a new quad in the next few months and iam stuck on what manufacturer, type, and what size to get and even 4x4 or 2x4. I ride mud, jumps, trails, narrow bush trails and i also want something that will do a little bit of work.
If any of you are in the same spot that Iam in or now what quad I should get please send me a message in this forum.

THANKS

The best bet for what you described is a yamaha wolverine its 4x4 its jumpable(to a certain extent)great for trails and can do work.

1991 Lt250r :
Ceet seat cover,DG alloy front bumper,DG alloy rear grabar,DG alloy nerf bars ,Emgo bars,Pro design kill switch,Maier plastic(Looks awsome I put lots of cool stickers on it),Uni air filter,Shockwears,Parking brake block off,RTC clutch lever,Motion pro twist throttle(took a while to get used to!),Leager A arms ,Ohlins front shocks(got them with the quad the look kinda old),Homemade motor skid(from speed limit sign),Turf tammers on back,IPT hole shot up front,And probly other stuff to but I cant think of all of them rite now. If you truly mean just a "little bit" of work, the Wolverine could fill the bill.

But be aware that the Wolverine is notoriously lacking in bottom-end pulling power. If you start to do any "real work", you'll wish you had something with more low-end torque.

While not entirely out of the realm of possibility, a quad that can jump, and a quad that can really work are pretty much mutually exclusive. Utility quads can be jumped (a little) but it ain't pretty, and the landings are really hard on both the quad and the rider.

The initial part of your post seems to indicate that you already own, or have owned, a quad, and that you have done some riding. If that's the case, what are you riding now?

I think that before you can truly make an intelligent decision in this matter, you must first resolve just how much and how hard you plan to work whatever quad you buy.

look at the lakota by Kawy, it's a Mojave with a Bayou enging.
Your actually asking for 2 different machines!
good luck on this one.
From your needs you mention I'd get the Bayou and sacrafice the sport end of the spectrum, that is if you need a utility quad mainly. wont need 4x4 either, Bayou has a locking differential AND Disc Brakes! go check one out.
And please make your contributions out to "WR400f" c/o this web site
