I was riding my Rancher yesterday and noticed it was steering funny so i got off of it and set the handlebars straight and the left tire is where it is suppose to be and the right tire is kinda turned to the right. I didn't hit anything with the right tire very hard, but i did the left one but the left tire is just fine... Did I bend a tie rod or what could I have done? I have had it since July 1st and it has 1300 miles on it I'm glad that I bought my Rancher 4x4 ES. I am very happy with it...

No you probably didn't bend the a-arm. It just out of alignment. Search this forum for the alignment procedure. I have used the string method twice to re-align my tires.

 

check under your scoot, i'll bet you that its a tear in your frame, if it is, call honda, probabley the serial number on your rancher is in the target group listed in the rancher recall, honda will make it right.

 

where is the SCOOT at? ihave heard some pops under my front end but i dont see anything noticable broke or cracked anywhere, maybe i am looking in the wrong place.

scoot was short for scooter, you know as in slang, set your quad on its azz and look where the three brackets go, the recall kit is a series of brackets that they will bolt to these to stablize and strenghten this area.im old so i might have the terminology not just so but you young guys are smart, so you will be able to figure out what i mean.grampa jones
