Default should I rejet?

I have a stock 05 sp700 carb. If i put a pure polaris muffler on my machine should i rejet the carb? and should I do a air filter at the same time. The machine seems to run a little rich from the factory. I am trying to wake it up alittle. Any advice would be helpful.

maybe its different with parts from the company but I would think any difference in flow would require a re-jet like any other muffler or filter. at least some kind of ajustment
