Default Nice increase in power!

My thanks to THEBOM for the work he did on my DS Friday, I was only able to spend about 20 minutes on the DS after but.........WOW! it was a fun 20 min

He installed a new TM45 with a match ported intake, new clutch with RW 60% springs and a did few other tricks to find some power.

Now, I know this is nothing to you guys out there who are the real racers, but my "seat of the pants" dyno says that some nice increases in HP and Torque were found.
Just wish we were not heading into winter.

Anyway, I wanted to thank THEBOM for all the work and knowledge he shared, he is a good guy!

Chuck

I wish there was a good tuner / builder here in southern california that I could have do a nice dyno tune and setup on my DS to get that extra oomph out of it. Oh well, it still rides great, just not dyno tuned great.

Congratulations on your new found power, it sure is a lot of fun, isn't it? Be careful - if you ride a stock or near stock DS you'll think it is slow.

Don't let winter keep you from riding.
The RW CDI will make you happy also.
Take it back to THEBOM next summer and have him put it on alky, that will really make you

Oh I will not let winter stop me Big Waynester, just dying to try out the new power.
As far as the alky, I told myself I was going to keep all these mods mild...........but, who knows, I have always enjoyed al little alky, I am sure the DS will too.....

cpaul, it is not that hard switching from gas to alky back to gas again, something to think about if you think there might be some racing involved. I would wait until summer when it is warm and the weather is more consistent. When tuned correct, it gives nice gains.
