Took the family to Wayne this weekend, and after we came back from our first ride, there was a plain-jane Chevy S-10 with a single axle flatbed trailer parked next to our truck. I talked to the dad a little bit, just before he headed out with his daughter. After the next ride, we were both back at the parking lot, and we started talking to him and his daughter. They daughter was 18 years old, cute, trim, and very down-to-earth. The father was commenting on how friendly the riders were. He had bought a new Honda 300EX, and then purchased a second used one, due to the fun he was having. Then I noticed the daughter's helmet. It was painted, with Cummins across the forehard. And it was not a motorcycle helmet. Then, I noticed the chin spoiler. I had watched an ESPN special where they talked about those chin spoilers helping keep the helmets level for the Indy 500 drivers. That was when I noticed the name Sarah on the side of the helmet. Looking a little closer, her last name was Fisher. So, I asked her if she was "the" Sarah Fisher. She asked what did I mean, and I said the Sarah Fisher from Columbus, Ohio, who was running in the IRL series, and who ran at Indy this year. Well, it was her, and guys, she could ride that 300EX. We talked about listening to her at Indy on the radio scanner (our first Indy race, as we are NASCAR fans), and she got embarrased, and apologized! You see, when she was involved in an accident at Indy, she got a little upset, and talked about her feelings on the radio. No different than any of the other riders, but neat that she was embarrassed about it.
Anyway, sorry for rambling on, but to net it out, nice girl, nice family, down-to-earth, and can ride her butt off on a 4-wheeler! Oh, and pretty, to top it all off. So any of you (young) Wayne riders, be nice to any riders you may meet on the trails, and you could be meeting the woman of your dreams!

Glad to see that "famous" people are still human, and act like, have fun, don't consider others "normal" like underpeople.
Great meeting.
Sadly, some others don't act this way.

Where is the Williams camping area? We parked at the one trailhead at Dorr Run that the Dorr Run Loop runs straight through it. The one that has the gates at each end, and the road to it T-bones into the parking area.

I know where Camp Ohio is at. We were talking about it the other day..for camping it would be 100% better than Williams.

RubiconBob...I'm gonna send you something in e-mail, let me know that you got it OK please.

Then you guys do me a favor please!!.....Go to my photo album and check out the "Toys" album. Take a good look. Then IF you see our truck, you will hopefully see us on the trails! Look for us & give us a holler!!!!! I have to wonder who all from this forum we pass on the trails but don't realize it.
I doubt we will be back to WNF for a few weeks...

Later....
