Maier VS Fullbore, preferences?
#1
Looking to replace my stock plastic which is pretty beat up. I could not find recent reviews / information on either product. Has anybody purchased either Maier or Fullbore plastics recently and if so what are your opionions of the products. Thanks

I have no experience with Fullbore, although the product looks good online and in mags. I really like thier designs for the Banshee and Pred. The current Maier plastic is pretty nice, better than most OEM plastic IMO.

I'd heard that sometime in the last few years Maier had switched to injection molds which are better however it seems that Fullbore is the way to go. More opionions would be great. THanks for the quick responses.

I've had several sets of the Maier plastic and they all seem to hold up well. I like the fact you can get so many different colors at a decent price. The only thing I don't like is that the fit is only average. They don't end up looking bad, but they don't always fit perfect. The Fullbore's are some nice plastic, but I can't see paying that much for plastic. Good Luck.

Fullbore is still the better choice for quality and appearance, but if you're looking for cheap replacements or race plastic to beat the heck out of maier is the choice.

i bought a set of maier plastics and i am pretty happy with them, i had to use some of my own screws and nuts since i had racing pegs, but overall i would go with maier, fullbore is like 250-300 hundred more and not worth it.....
