how often do you charge your battery

If you're referring more to when your ATV is not being used, as in sitting unridden for a while (1month or more at a time), look into a battery tender. They're not too expensive, $40 to $60 bucks or so.
batterytender.com is a good place to start for getting info about them.

I never had to charge the battery on my warrior. if it's going dead by itself you've got a bad battery, or you need to get out and ride more. If you left the lights on or something that drained it, I wouldn't use more than 2 amps to charge it. I used a trickle charger with my new battery(1 amp) and it worked fine.

yeah being at college my battery doesnt usualy run low on juice, sometimes it pushes a little harder and once I get it started I make sure to keep it running strait for a little while to give the battery a chance to recharge. If it isnt holding charge then it probably needs to be changed. Im on my original 2001 battery in my wolverine its starting to die when i get home for christmas im going to replace it so i dont have any winter troubles out in the snowstorms. I have a backup pullstart too so its not that big a deal for me. just less work with a snow-suit on
