Arctic Cat Z 5 Pro idle problem
#1
Have a 1999 Arctic Cat Z 5 Pro . Cleaned carburetors, put fresh gas. Changed plugs. The sled runs great when at half and full throttle, but as soon as you go to idle, the engine dies. Occasionally will backfire under the clutch side. Any ideas what could be wrong?

P.S. Have tried tweaking the idle adjustment screws on the carburetors without success. Also, it doesn’t appear to be the throttle cable adjustment screw on the top of the carbs (even though that’s only for adjusting the leveling of the slides) Does it sound like a problem with the ignition (the CDI box or coil)????
