Hi guy..

Just my 2 cents here. I think blue would look really cool also. i have a 63 Merc Comet that I repainted. The color is a original 63 color but it is cross charted to a color called Viking Blue. It has a little metallic in it and looks just beautiful. A real eye catcher. Go to your paint shop and look at the PPG colors for a 63 Comet and look under the blues. There should be 2 colors, one is a robins egg blue and another should be a darker color blue called if my memory serves me correct I think it was called Pacific poly blue.

. Here is a link to the color.Viking Blue color

Oh yeah btw.. This is my baby Ok im gonna brag here

3 on the tree
Stored since 1971 in a old ladys garage. She got it in 1966 with almost no miles on it. Sunday driver for her till 1971 when it was parked. I know it hasnt been driven since 1971 because I have never seen her garage open. Picked her up in 1995 with a ton of dust on her. Repainted her, redid the carpet and seat inserts and a new set of rubber, brake cyl and master cyl redone also, put a set of 15" glasspacks on the car as well as a set of marshmellow roasters.

Everything else is original. It has sat im my garage since 1995 untill this year when I tagged it and drove it. Still had the original FOMO hoses and belts on it as well as the original FOMO muffler. The clutch pads as well as the gas pedals show no wear.

The speedo is reading 2500 miles.

Just wish they still made cars like this..

I still have the paint can if you want I could give you the numbers off of it.

The Bom should be able to get you the 102mm bore piston (680cc) without a problem.

I've got a buddy looking at this same build.
