Default 1985 Honda 110 brakes

My 110 sat down for a few months and the rear brake pedal sticks and the brakes are not as good as they used to be. Anybody have any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks

Rust. Pull the pedal off and clean the surface on which it pivots. If you have to press the pedal way down to get any brakes it would be a good idea to tun the adjuster in (on the arm on the brake drum). If, however, the adjuster is already in so far that the return spring, that pushes directly on the arm, is mostly compressed you will need new shoes. Oh, be sure to grease (we use waterproof wheel bearing grease) all pivots.

Hope that helps.

Jason
