Just trying to find out what type of gear lube everyone is using. I'm getting ready to change mine out as break in time is about done.

I use Slick 50 just because it was there when I needed it. When I'm out I'll go to Mobil 1.

I'm not sure about the new Rancher front diff , but I know from experience that you can't use regular synthetic gear lube in a limited slip differential without a limited slip additive or it will make all kinds of noise.

As long as the rating on the lube is the same as what's recommended in your owners manual, you shouldn't have any probs.
