Default Blaster

Yeah i have an 05 blaster that blew up and i bored it .60 over. when i hit six gear and just barlly crack the throttle im topped out. how many teeth should i drop to compesate for that or is there something else i can do.
i dont feel like blowing it up again.

You can go to a 14 tooth primary, that along with the 40 tooth sprocket is as high as you can gear a Blaster from what I can find.

im at 13 for the front and 40 in the back the 14 i bought for it the teeth were to big but what would be a good company to get the parts for it from????

Actually I just found you can go up to a 15 front although it's real close to the engine case which can present problems. and in the back you can get a 39 from a couple places. If you went to a 14 front you would notice some difference, and a lot of times you can pick this up from your local dealer cheaper than ordering one, in the 10 to 15 dollar range.

Latter on down the road I would also look into getting 22 inch tires if you don't already, this would also help to gear you up a little. It would also help you get more ground clearance if you trail ride.

Yeah i tried to go to a 14 but the teeth were to big so i dont know it mounted up but wouldnt spin due to size so im kinda hesitent about ebay i think ill just get one from a dealer
