firstly I must thank the guys who have posted great advice about these chinese xxx brand quads.They saved me many many headaches.

The chinese quad,110cc looks very similar to the kazuma or red cat.Purchased for $450 on Ebay.I want to remove the 4 speed gearbox and install a fully automatic system.Can this be done?

 

No it can not be done. The clutch is incorporated into the crank case so the only way to change would to change the whole motor with one that has fully auto. Why do you want toe fully auto?

 

thanks for the reply.I wanted to slow the quad down without reving the engine so high in 1st gear.My boys Twins are 5 and 8.The 8 year is fine with the speed but the 5 year olds need to restricted.They have just come off the powerwheels battery quads,which I modified to run 18v.They have now outgrown them. I thank you for your great advice in the forum and will stick with what I have.
