boy i hate to start off a new forum with a BIG problem, But i can not get help from redcat

I cant find my e-mail to john. but here are the photo, the vin # are LAAZCHZC86000005xx & LAAZCKLC00001xx . The seat has a hole in it, and the dealer told my that he would replace. and he told me that since i payed for the ATV. IT was not his problem, now with the tie rod end you can see from the photo, the pin hole are drill too high. i have found this on both bikes. it look's like all the bolt that have the cotter pin it them have this problem, both bikes.
I was a parts manger for hyundai for 8 years out of my 22 years as a parts manger,

so i just want to help you guy out..

one more thing. what model of ATV are the vx110 and vx150 (ie) honda trx or yamaha ?

Today Sunday October 2nd I took both of my red cats out the vx110 has a serious problem with the chain tentioner today I must have worked on it for at least four hours it kept derailing to the point that it excessive friction causing the chain to bind up I don’t know what we can do to fix this problem .the other problems with the bolts coming loose seems to have been fixed by my replacing lock washers and then lock tighting everthing down. Now the 150 I am e-mailing you a picture of the mounting bracket for the front fender this bike never been taken to the trails already the fenders broke. one of the headlights burnt out within 20 minuets and the front master cylinder is spongey . Those were the only problems we found on the 150 .



The photo show some thing i have talk about, one i paint all the nut and bolt to see it they have move, the bad fender, and the tie rod.. and how bad the dealer did the PDI on this bike, they did not put washer on alot of the parts that they put on..

I guess what I AM asking is I need a solutions to the chain tensioning problem I believe the chain is now bad. we can't keep doing this....Please call or e-mail me back, and we still have not received the seat

MY TWO NEW REDCAT ATV ARE DOWN and I need HELP. Mr. Nichols the VX110 chain tentioner is NOT WORKING. Now the chain is bad, are you guy working on a fix for them. If so, can you send me a new chain tentioner and chain for now so I can get may kids riding again.



Now for the VX-150 THE REAR END WAS LOOSE so I looked at it and found that the nut back off, because the hole in the bolt end was drill to far away. I start to tighting down to fix it and knowiest some thing was not right, took the swings arm off and found that one side did not have a bushing in it. I will put photo of the vx150 needing the bushing, I think they forgot the put one in on the right side… WOW GUY! You are going to have a serious problem. WITH THAT. Next, is the mounting bracket for the front fender on this bike is already broke before we took is out to the trail, one of the headlights burnt out within 20 minuets and the front master cylinder is spongey. Those were the only problems we found so far.



I am starting to get mad now. This is not good I payed good money for the bikes, ($2.500). I took the VX-110 out two time and problem each time! Now I took the VX150 out same thing problem.

do you think this right. I do not think so. PLEASE HELP ME...


as of today still no help.. i have talked to Mr. Nichols and he told me that he would take care on it, but NO parts still..

AGAIN SORRY THAT I DO NOT WRITE WELL....

one more thing, i am NOT NEW TO motorcycle and ATV, BEEN work around them for 32 years.

I'm sorry to hear of your problems. I can't help but wonder how many folks that bought the Chinese built atvs around here before Christmas are having problems. There were a couple guys here pulling trailers with the atv's in crates, selling them right off the trailer! That's not too mention the couple of small car lots that sold them. I'm sure there is no dealer or parts place for them to go too....not around here.
I hope you get them fixed soon.

I bought them back on 09-01-05. F ING JUNK!!! I still have them but i bought a honda trx 250 and a yamaha 350, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

The TRX 250 is a tough machine. My neighbor's younger brother has one and he has put that thing through every mudhole that his older brother has put his Foreman in. They pull him out when he gets stuck but he goes right on. That red Recon has come back completely brown in color from caked on mud many times....not too mention the abuse around the house the machine gets. Them two are rough on their machines!

What Yamaha did you buy? My girlfriend has an 04 Bruin 4x4 that she loves, mainly because it's an auto.
She bought it from a friend of her son's for a 1000 dollars.....he needed money fast plus he owed her son some money....long story but still a great buy for her.
One problem....the valve seals have started to go bad already....and this Yamaha is not abused....at all.

 

I got a 2005 yamaha raptor 350. it is nice!!!
